The Catholic Girl’s League (CGL) gathered in faith and unity with their CWL sisters, youth and parishioners for a Prayer Service marking the closing of the Jubilee Year 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope. The Prayer Service was held on Saturday, November, 29, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Parish with the Gathering Hymn - Pilgrims of Hope; Opening Remarks by Pastor Fr. Fernan Serrano; Opening Prayers by Deacon Gerry Cruz; Prayers for the Pilgrims of Hope; Prayer for the Preparation of WYD, Seoul 2027, Prayer for the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV; Bearers of Hope/Achievements/Sharing Experiences (by CGL members and youth of the parish); The 5 Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary (by the CWL members); Liturgy of the Word by Deacon Gerry followed by Lunch and Fellowship.

A first time celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception held on Monday Dec. 8 at 6.p.m. This Marian Choral recital consisting of some members of our 3 church choirs (Sat. 5.00 p.m; Sunday 9.30 & 11.15 a.m. choirs) provided a prayerful evening venerating Mother Mary through hymns of song and praise. The choir introduced two little children, Raelynn and Ethan. The sweet and pleasing sound of their voices together with the choir created calm prayerful moments. The choir was accompanied by Irwin D’Souza on the piano. The recital was followed by Mass and a parish fellowship.

Thanks to Deacon Gerry Cruz and the parish ministries for making the Family Fun Day a success. Parishioners enjoyed a variety of foods and activities to celebrate the feast of our patron, St. Bartholomew, on August 23-24, 2025.

The Knights of Columbus kicked off summer with a parish barbecue on the weekend of June 7 & 8, 2025.

Students received their First Holy Communion on May 31, 2025.

The Confirmation ceremony was held on May 25, 2025.

The students preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation lead the Stations of the Cross during Lent 2025.

Parishioners enjoyed an evening of fun at the Pre-Christmas party held on December 14, 2024. Honoured guests were Bishop Vincent Nguyen, MPP Raymond Cho, and MP Shaun Chen. The evening included a buffet dinner, music, and dancing.

The confirmation candidates participated in the annual Lessons and Carols event on December 13, 2024. New photos have been added to the Lessons and Carols album.

Several parishioners joined the celebration of Fr. Cryer's 100th Birthday. Fr. Cryer was the founding pastor of St. Bartholomew parish.

The parish held a novena for the nine days preceding the feast of our patron saint, St. Bartholomew. On the weekend of August 24 & 25, 2024, we held a celebration for the whole parish with food and games.

On July 11, 2024, the Catholic Women's League held a Prayer Service for the Sick. All parishioners and members of CWL councils in Scarborough were invited to attend.

On June 1, 2024, the Catholic Women's League lead a procession followed by the crowning of Mary. The ceremony included prayers, a litany to Our Lady, and the blessing of items brought by parishioners.

Two youth from St. Bartholomew parish were given the Altar Server Award in the fall of 2023.

On August 20, 2023, Bishop Vincent Nguyen celebrated a special Jubilee Mass in honour of the parish's 50th anniversary. After Mass, he blessed a new wooden cross donated by the Knights of Columbus.

Fr. Serrano brought birthday greetings to our founding pastor, Fr. Cryer.

On May 25, 2022, all the ministries of the parish joined in a ceremony to crown the Blessed Virgin Mary. The ceremony was organized by the Catholic Women's League.

In December 2021, the St. Bartholomew choirs and the Confirmation candidates performed a selection of readings and Christmas carols for the parishioners.

The Knights of Columbus hosted a novena for the nine days preceding the feast of our patron saint, St. Bartholomew. On Saturday, August 21, 2021, they held a celebration for the whole parish after the 5:00 pm Mass. The novena ended on St. Bartholomew's feast day, August 24.

In August, 2021, the Catholic Women's League hosted a novena in honour of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On the final evening, we held a procession, had a short liturgy, and enjoyed some social time.

During the month of May, 2021, our parish recited the rosary outdoors every evening, following all the the COVID-19 protocols. At the end of the month, the Catholic Women's League held a ceremony to crown Our Lady.
